As a Young Professional (Y/P) and/or a women in engineering, your success and contribution to the industry will be a direct consequence of how much effort you put into your growth, combined with your willingness to learn from experienced mentors.
Pillar content covers the importance of taking responsibility for and owning your success as a YP/woman by building your successful career path. You will receive guidance on how to market yourself, the art of effective communication, risk management, emotional intelligence, sustainability, the immense benefits of effective mentorship for a YP, and practical tips and tricks for the working woman.
We also look at how to find a sense of purpose and joy in the workplace, how self-awareness and self-confidence can make you an asset in any company, and the value of communicating effectively with clients and colleagues.
Nurturing young professional females in engineering and attracting, developing and retaining woman engineers will contribute to a company’s success, and we consider some examples of how this can be encouraged.
